This book is made from a catalog of an exhibition of Emanuelle Quertain in 2013 (The roots of the future) to which I was unable to go.

On each page, the catalog showed an empty box representing the paintings exhibited.
The paintings showed by Emmanuelle are a series inspired by her highschool history book.

Inspired by the titles and my highschool classes memories, i made a drawing for every canvas.
