I found ancient postcards in Brussels.
I looked for the exact place in Google view. Then I insolated photosensitive paper on my computer screen in a darkroom.
The results pictures looks like shadowy screen shots similar to the original postcards.
I created an online map with the possibility to visit virtually the places, to have access to both images and to the original correspondance on the postcard.
With this project, I wanted to juxtapose two mediums to represent the world, the space and the geography from two very contrasting periods but not so further from each other.
